Parts Manager | Automotive Dealership

Port City Autos, home to Mercedes-Benz, Subaru, LDV, Renault, Used Vehicles, Holden Service and a plethora of quality Used Cars, eagerly seeks an experienced Parts Manager to lead our retail and trade parts operation in Hervey Bay.

This customer focused role will be responsible for leading a team from the front and providing exceptional customer service and parts interpretation to to our wide and varied client base both locally and further a field.  

This rare opportunity, would ideally suit an experienced Parts Manager, capable of managing multiple franchises and a small team of Parts Consultants and Interpreters.

Essential to your success we eager seek:

• Prior management experience within a Dealership Parts Department or similar.  We will consider an experienced Interpreter looking to further their career
• Exposure to inventory control measures and effective stocktake mana ability 
• Experience in multi franchise environments 
• Ability to achieve and exceed internal budgets and multiple Manufacturer targets and KPI's
• Superior customer service and interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to promote and represent the business within the community
• Willingness to build strong working relationships with your team, as well as internal sales, service and pre-delivery departments
• Experience in maximising profitability by building on market share, operational efficiency and identifying new business initiatives and opportunities
• Strong eye for detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines
• Ability to lead, manage and further develop the department whilst maintaining a cohesive team spirit

Reporting to the Dealer Principal and in collaboration with the Fixed Operations Manager this position offers a high level of autonomy with the ability to demonstrate proven influential and effective interpersonal style, fitting with the brands and our company philosophy. The role requires a dedicated and experienced Automotive Parts professional with commercial astuteness, strong coaching, learning and development skills and a sound knowledge of modern automotive technology and design.

In return for strong and consistent results, this position will offer an attractive salary and an uncapped monthly commission package.
