Saddles Mount White are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Pastry Chef to join our growing team.
Saddles is located in the beautiful surrounds of Mount White, drawing inspiration from it's natural habitat.
Saddles has been operating for nearly 6 years with a loyal following from both Sydney and the Central Coast regions.
What we're looking for:
- Minimum 2 years Pastry specific experience
- Extensive experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of traditional pastry making, preparing Vegan desserts and an eye for birthday and wedding cake production.
- Minimum Certificate 3 in commercial cookery
- Daily preparation for kitchen service
- Inventory and stock management
- Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance.
- Ensure compliance with NSW food safety regulations.
- Supervise preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Be a leader in menu development, working directly with the Head Chef
- Provide training to new and junior staff in your section
