This bar/ casual dining will be modern Australian cuisine
with a touch of modern Korean, French infusion in order to create modern yet exotic food and beverage experiences.
The Vision
Funda Bar aims to be the creator and the provider of the next level all-day dining experience to the buzzing Sydney’s dining scene. We will not just sit back and spectate the new food culture we are bringing, but we will actively engage with our audiences and seek to improve with this experimentation.
This will be the spot that everyone will want to come back to for those who want to eat and have fun in style. This dining experience will be what people will talk about and remember as new and fascinating as we continue to push our boundaries.
Funda is looking for experienced and dedicated All level of chef and floor and bar supervisor to become part of our professional and fun kitchen team .
What you'll need
• Exceptional culinary skills and sound knowledge of a variety of different cooking styles.
• Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude
• Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
• Excellent communication skills
• An understanding of HACCP and the ability to ensure standards are maintained.
• A true passion for food and customer service.

About the role:
• Demonstrate clear communication and meticulous attention to finer details.
• Present innovative ideas to the Head Chef, considering menu coherence and flavor profiles.
• Work autonomously while contributing effectively to the overall kitchen team.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Prior experience as a Pastry cook in a hatted or similar reputable restaurant or venue.
• Ability to delegate and monitor responsibilities effectively and provide on the job training to your team.
• Up-to-date knowledge of culinary trends and professional kitchen operations.
