Position: We are seeking highly professional, motivated, and enthusiastic individual with relevant qualification to come and join our team as the Full-time Pastry Cook.
Skills and Experience
1. Inspect equipment's and premises for cleanliness to comply with health and safety regulations.
2. Craft and bake various baked goods such as bread, rolls, buns, cakes, cookies, and pastries.
3. Assessing raw material quality and measuring ingredients
4. Performing tasks such as kneading, aging, cutting, shaping, and mixing dough and pastry goods.
5. Preparing fillings for pastries.
6. Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance for baking time.
7. Managing the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning, and cooling of bread, rolls, and pastry batches.
8. Applying glaze to buns and pastries, and decorating cakes with cream and icing.
9. Operating machinery for rolling, shaping dough, and cutting biscuits.
10.Cleaning and greasing baking trays, tins, and cooking equipment.
Qualification
2 years of minimum experience
Certificate III in Patisserie or equivalent related field.
OR
Certificate IV in Patisserie or equivalent related field.
Remuneration
Successful candidate will be paid the salary of $60,000 to $70,000 plus superannuation.
