Our vibrant Administration Team is seeking a highly organised, enthusiastic professional with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service to join us on a casual basis.
The Opportunity
In this role, the Patient Administration Officer will provide quality customer service in the coordination of administrative functions across the hospital from Front Reception through to the wards.
The role will involve but is not limited to providing support and assistance to the administrative and clinical teams as well as patients and relatives, by coordinating the clerical requirements for patients from admission to discharge.
Shifts will range from 2 up to 5 days per week (dependent on staffing needs at the time) with the eventual potential to obtain a PPT position.
About You
The successful applicant will be a positive, responsible, self-motivated person with excellent people and telephone skills. It is essential that you have a strong commitment to customer service and a 'can do' approach.
In addition, you will also demonstrate:
- Experience in a similar role preferred but not essential
- Experience with Meditech (Desirable)
- Understanding of Health Funds and patient eligibility (desirable)
- Unwavering commitment to client confidentiality
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively, both independently and within a team structure
- High level of competency in computer and Microsoft Office skills
Remuneration
On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $30.57 - $ 31.89 + superannuation and casual loading based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
