  • 5 weeks annual leave (pro-rata for part time)

A day in the life of our Patient Liaison Officers:

Our Patient Liaison Team (PLOs) at the Royal Dental Hospital Melbourne (RDHM) report to the Patient Liaison Team Leader. Our PLOs are responsible for all face-to-face contact with our patients coming in for dental treatment when they arrive for their appointment.

Your two main activities will be:

  • Meeting and greeting patients and providing an unforgettable customer service experience
  • Attending to admin duties for our Primary Care and Specialist Care Departments.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist the Patient Liaison Team Leader and Coordinators in the daily operations by ensuring coverage on all clinical floors of RDHM.
  • Provide excellent customer service to at-risk communities
  • Handle multiple tasks at the same time.

About you:

  • Excellent customer services skills
  • Ability to build rapport and foster trust and respect in the workplace
  • Experience working with conflicting priorities such as face-to-face interactions, phone calls and/or admin tasks.
  • If you have worked in a customer experience role in the past, whether it be reception, call centers or hospitality we would love to hear from you.
