Your part in Buderim Private Hospital
A key role, and a leader in healthcare, the Patient Safety Officer will provide expertise and participate in the development of UCH and local clinical incident management related policies, procedures and work instructions.
You will lead and facilitate clinical incident investigations, quality improvement activities and manage the systems and processes used to report, triage, track and monitor clinical incidents.
You will also promote awareness of clinicals risk management, Patient Safety and quality improvement across the hospital.
What makes a difference for us?
- Advanced communication, collaboration, consultation and teamwork skills
- Tertiary qualifications in nursing and AHPRA registration
- A clinical background of at least 5 years front line experience (desirable)
- Knowledge of the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare’s role, relevant legislation, and standards
- Experience in health service delivery with appropriate clinical knowledge
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
