About Heath Wing 7
Heath Wing 7 is a 32-bed General Medicine ward specialising in Respiratory Medicine. The specialised multidisciplinary team manage adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions, which are complex and inclusive of multiple co-morbidities.
About the role
We are looking for a qualified Patient Service Assistant to join the team on Heath Wing 7. As a ward based Patient Services Assistant, you will be required to be multi-skilled in that you perform a number of different tasks associated with the general servicing of the ward. You will be responsible for the roles of food delivery, transport and providing a clean and safe ward environment. You will also be required to assist the nursing staff with hygiene and patient transfers. You will have direct contact with patients in the ward areas where you will be required to communicate effectively with patients, families and other staff members.
