Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Accountant for a contract role. This engaging opportunity will allow you to bridge the gap during a transition period within the company. The role requires strong Excel skills and familiarity with payroll systems such as MYOB and Human Force. While initial training will be conducted on-site at Mt Cotton and Nerang head office, there is flexibility to work remotely once training is complete.
What you'll do:
- Learn and process payroll during a transitional period within the company
- Utilise strong Excel skills to manage and organise data effectively
- Work on-site initially for training purposes, with the ability to work remotely thereafter
- Assist in transitioning the payroll system from weekly to fortnightly payments
- Operate payroll systems such as MYOB and Human Force efficiently
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates
