About the Role:
This is a blended Payroll and Accounts Payable position. The initial split will be around 40% payroll, 60% AP, however the payroll responsibilities will ramp up as the role progresses. Your duties will include, but may not be limited to;
- Ensuring integrity of payroll system within the Company’s ERP system Pronto
- Processing of monthly payroll and related payments
- Year end payroll rollover and reporting obligations including STP
- Assisting with system improvements to the payroll module, particularly as the Company moves into the next phase of construction and operations
- Liaise with Human Resources and implement changes to the system as necessary to ensure appropriate integration and integrity of pay
- Ensuring integrity of Accounts Payable system within the Company’s ERP system Pronto
- Purchase order maintenance including receipting and invoicing against PO’s and responding to enquiries across the business.
- Preparation of bi-month payment run including ad hoc special payment runs where required
- Monitoring invoice approvals and coding through itrack including ensuring invoices are allocated to the correct department for approval.
- Supplier statement reconciliations and assisting with supplier enquiries
- Collation of expense reimbursement paperwork for the Senior Leadership Team.
- Assist with system improvements (Pronto, Flexipurchase) where relevant
- Assist Finance team with month end process where required
Requirements:
Minimum Education requirements - Completion of Year 12 or equivalent
Proficient with Microsoft applications
Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the business.
1-2 years experience in payroll or support role
Some experience in administration or Accounts Payable (Desirable)
Experience with an ERP system (Pronto) (Desirable)
