About The Role:
- Part time – 40 hours per fortnight (Tuesday, Wednesday in First week and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in Second Week)
- End to end payroll.
- Resolving payroll related queries in a timely manner
- Interpretation of Awards, Agreements, and employment contracts
- Setup and maintenance of payroll records including new starters, employee changes and terminations
- Process employee information accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure payroll compliance with policy, procedures, and industrial instruments
- Providing support to users in the use of our time and attendance system
- Administration – including employee filing, reporting and other tasks as directed
Selection Criteria:
- Previous experience in payroll environment essential
- Proven experience in interpreting and applying Awards and industrial agreements
- Possess strong administration, attention to detail and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and adhere to deadlines
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work cooperatively in a team environment as well as autonomously
- Flexibility to cover leave periods and work extended hours during peak periods
- Confidentiality, sensitivity, and integrity across all aspects of the role
