About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team. This is a Part Time position, and you will be expected to work on Monday and Tuesday from 8am to 4pm in our Belmont WA office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Process and interpret complex timesheet payroll for 150+ staff in a timely and accurate manner
- Accounts payable - reconciling creditors to statements and processing payments
- Liaise with clients for onsite purchase orders
- Liaise with Accounts/Payroll Manager
- Previous payroll experience preferably in mining with minimum 2 years experience
- MYOB AR, Office and Excel experience essential
- The ability to meet deadlines for assigned tasks with a good attention to detail
- Ensuring data accuracy and integrity for existing records and new starters
- Have strong analytical, problem solving and data entry skills
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of our team
