Recharge Petroleum is a Fuel Distribution and Transport company that plays a crucial role in supporting the fuel supply of Northern Western Australia and the Northern Territory. With strategically located depots throughout Northern WA and NT, we specialise in deliveries to mining, retail, aviation, exploration camps, cattle stations, and remote communities.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Payroll Officer to join our Finance team based in our Bibra Lake office on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for processing for approximately 100 employees.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Processing end-to-end payroll for all employees in Xero
- Ensuring accurate and timely payment of wages, salaries and other compensation
- Maintaining and updating employee records in the payroll system
- Preparing and submitting payroll reports to management
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including tax reporting
- Assisting in the preparation of payroll audits
- Scanning and saving Fatigue Management timesheets
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer in medium or large size organisations
- Proficiency in using the Xero payroll system
- Strong understanding of payroll principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
