About the role
UGL's Manufacturing & Maintenance business is seeking a self-motivated Administration & Payroll Officer to join our high performing team, located at our facility in Spotswood, Victoria. The role will be offered on a permanent full-time basis.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will partner with the business and be the Administrative and Payroll Officer for the team at the facility.
You will be responsible for general administrative support, communication amongst stakeholders and customers alike, processing of payroll, travel coordination and supporting management team with other ADHOC functions.
About you
- You will have 2 years previous administration and payroll experience within a commercial environment, possess exceptional communication skills, coupled with a genuine interest in building relationships within the organisation
- Knowledge of Kronos and SAP Payroll interface, including job costing concepts
- Previous experience time keeping and process payroll for wages/EA staff
- Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel, email
- Cross check and input of weekly payroll timesheets, including holidays and any labour hire processing
- Must be customer focused, team oriented, accountable and results driven
- Must be energetic with a positive can-do attitude
- Ability and willingness to adapt, quickly learn and put to use new skills and knowledge brought about by rapidly changing structure, process, information and/or technology
- Ensure onboarding compliance is captured and loaded into all system
- Administration of Service Orders
- Analysis of Service Order Costs, Expenses and Labour and Hourly Charge Rates
- Create Service orders, invoices, and reports as required
- Previous experience working with in a heavy industry is desired but not essential
- Provide administration support to the onsite team
