Come and join the Lamb Weston family as the Payroll Analyst based in Narre Warren head office.

The focus for the role will be to drive and deliver the end-to-end payroll for the weekly and monthly pay cycles in Asia Pacific, including Australia and China, complete all associated processes (superannuation, tax, reports, workcover etc) and manage the Payroll/Time & Attendance systems. 

You will be working with Business Managers across the Asia Pacific region, production facilities and Vendors (ADP) to deliver compliance, updates/changes and deliver continuous improvements whilst maintaining the integrity of the production/BAU environment.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Delivering accurate and timely “end to end” payroll for business units in Asia Pacific – including Australia and China.
  • Provide reports and data as requested by business managers and HR.
  • Monitoring and manage ADP / RealTime / ESS / Payforce requests raised for Time & Leave / Payroll and associated systems/processes.
  • EOY, EOM and Weekly reporting
  • Be the first point of contact for payroll queries and enquiries, maintaining accurate data integrity
  • Provide first line support for and troubleshoot Pay & Time system or process related issues.
  • Work with HR team members to deliver a consistent people culture message and service
  • Work with technical or process experts to determine root cause of issue raised and identify potential solutions.
  • Identify and implement ongoing process/system improvement and strategic improvement in collaboration with stakeholders.

What you will bring:

You will have experience with end-to-end Payroll/Time & Attendance operations, systems, and processes, with demonstrated experience in HR/IR processes and principles. With a passion for prioritisation, planning and organisation to meet the requirements.

You will also have:-

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience of global payroll processing in countries located APAC.
  • Demonstrated ability to use a structured yet flexible approach to problem solving.
  • Strong excel skills using advances formula functions (VLOOKUPs, Pivot tables, IF statements etc)
  • Ability to understand systems and processes quickly both conceptually and practically.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and engagement skills
  • Works with a wide variety of people in a patient, open and communicative way
  • Proactive, takes initiative and has the ability to flex and adapt as priorities change.
  • Experience and working knowledge of QuickBooks, ADP Global, Celergo, Payforce and Workday would be highly advantageous.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and ability to develop improvements in processes and systems.
