About the Role:This full-time temporary role, a newly created role to support legislation changes to TIL for their industry. This role is best suited to someone experienced in payroll assistance, ideally from the Education sector.
Responsibilities:- Assist in processing payroll for employees accurately and efficiently.
- Verify timesheets, bonuses, commissions, and other payroll-related information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Respond promptly to payroll inquiries from employees and management.
- Collaborate with HR and finance departments to resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Maintain payroll records and generate reports as needed.
- Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices.
- Communicate with stakeholders their TIL entitlements.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in payroll administration
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.
