Robert Half are working with an ASX listed business based in the CBD to recruit a Payroll Audit & Compliance Officer on a 4-5-month basis (high possibility of extension). Our client has recently gone through significant change via acquisition and is now looking for someone to help on a payroll audit and compliance project.
The role:
- You will be responsible for payroll compliance across all aspects of payroll including:
- Portable long service leave
- Payroll tax
- Portable redundancy schemes
- Income protection
- PAYG
- Superannuation
- Conducting thorough audits of payroll procedures
- Support the wider payroll team with proactive governance of policy, procedures, and system updates.
- Drive pay compliance through implementing and maintaining preventative and detective controls for all pay runs.
- The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a similar position as well as outstanding payroll and EBA knowledge.
- Proficient in using multiple systems
- Strong reporting background
