Position Overview: As a key member of the Managed Payroll team, you will collaborate closely with our Client Services Team to deliver robust payroll processing solutions. Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, your role focuses on maintaining high standards of pay processing services across Federal, State, and corporate clients.
Responsibilities :
- Perform core system data entry tasks: staff movements, pay processing, leave management, service history updates, and superannuation adjustments.
- Resolve Single Touch Payroll (STP) warnings and errors for accurate reporting.
- Provide quotes and calculations for client requests (e.g., terminations) and conduct manual calculations for leave audits, superannuation audits, and terminations.
- Reconcile and manage data transfers with external agencies, such as super clearing houses.
- Execute standard Business Process Automation (BPA) forms for complex payroll scenarios.
- Support Senior Payroll Consultants with core system data entry and client interactions.
- Handle client inquiries via calls and emails regarding payroll processing.
- Participate in training programs to enhance payroll knowledge and proficiency in Aurion.
- Solid understanding of payroll principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Aurion’s Core HR and Payroll functionality.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement with a client-facing aptitude.
- Familiarity with standard payroll integration functionality.
- Ability to foster a collaborative team approach.
- Advanced knowledge of payroll principles, particularly in Federal/State government practices and NZ payroll.
- Advanced proficiency in Aurion’s Core HR and Payroll functionality, including additional pay rates and RDO equalization.
