Payroll Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Lead to join our clients team. The Payroll Lead will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing and managing payroll functions efficiently. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.The role will lead and undertake the daily payroll operations and drive the strategic objectives of the payroll systems and is accountable for:

• Monthly pay runs for 1 x Australia, 1 x Indonesia, 1 x New Zealand and 1 x Philippines
• Prepares, documents and disburses monthly payroll payments, payroll taxes and employee benefit payments
• Prepares reports illustrating payroll expenditures, including such items as tax payments and benefit plan disbursements

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for success and accuracy of the payroll for the Australasia region, by processing each countries payroll runs
• Ensure data accurate in the payroll systems
• Identify and carry out the intent of payroll procedures including statutory and tax requirements
• Conducts payroll reconciliations
• Manages the payroll data for Finance, such as cost centre management and general ledger data
• Ensures work activities are consistent and running efficiently; discover inconsistencies, document, and communicate the need for changes to management
• Liaises closely with supervisors, managers, and external payroll vendors to establish and implement administrative policies, procedures, and processes
• Ensures appropriate resource allocation to perform and ensure high quality of service, involving the management of payroll providers (in-house and / or out-sourced)
• Leads processes or projects of medium complexity and impact

To be succesful you will have:

• Knowledge of payroll and tax processes for Philippines (mandatory), Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia (preferred but not essential)
• Payroll systems: iChris/Frontier, ADP
• HR system: Workday
