Overview:The
Multicultural Health and Wellbeing Officer is responsible for contributing to the development, management, and delivery of a quality and culturally appropriate and effective Statewide Multicultural Screening and health promotion initiatives.The incumbent will implement evidence-based approaches to facilitate improved health outcomes for multicultural communities. The incumbent will be required to work within the accepted cultural practices within multicultural communities.The incumbent will also contribute to the development and implementation of strategies aimed at increasing the cancer screening participation rates of multicultural communities within the population target groups on a local/regional and Statewide basis.Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants are encouraged to apply.
