We’re on the lookout for an experienced Payroll Manager with robust people management skills to join our People & Culture department at our new Rhodes office. If you're passionate about payroll management and thrive in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of wages and salaries while overseeing payroll cycles.
- Remain informed on legislative changes and maintain payroll compliance.
- Provide meaningful reporting to the group and manage group reporting requirements.
- Foster a high-performing team culture through coaching and mentoring.
- Promote a safety-first culture and maintain a safe work environment.
- Effectively manage payroll costs to support business objectives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5+ years of senior payroll management experience in a large, complex environment.
- Tertiary study in Business Management or related field is desirable.
- Experience with system migration highly desirable.
- Experience leading teams and managing priorities effectively.
- Desirable experience in retail payroll operations.
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Working Relationships:
- Collaborate with executive and senior leadership teams, key leaders, and all employees.
- Engage with systems providers, superannuation representatives, legal partners, and union representatives.
