6 Month Day rate contract for an experienced Payroller. Hybrid working model with flexible hours. Possible permanent gap or extension available.

Pay: $120,000 + Super ($602 per day)
Hybrid working model: 2/3 days in office

Job role:
- Working with our outsourced provider, you will lead in the management of the end-to-end payroll operations and the reconciliation of HR data between Workday and chris21.
- Ensure all aspects of company compliance and governance are adhered too. These include Single Touch Payroll, GDPR, Payroll Taxes, Superannuation, Workers Compensation and any other government agencies.
- Preparation and reconciliation of End of Month and Year End including Payroll Tax, Payment Summaries and ESS statements, ensuring accuracy and lodging within the required timeframes.
- Manage the accuracy and relevance of local policies in a way that reinforces our market leading position as an employer of choice and ensures we are aware of any legislative changes which will impact our payroll & people.
- Provide the business with expert advice with payroll related matters and accurate employee-related data reports that are utilised for management tracking and decision making.
- Provide support to the HR team on an ad hoc basis through peak cycles & initiatives.
- Overseeing the visa application and partnering with Deloitte to ensure accurate advice is provided to Diageo employees.
- By using the Hay methodology, evaluate roles to determine the relative market value and recommend the suitable grade to the HR business partner.
- Prepare data for annual salary surveys and WGEA reporting.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Preferably degree qualified, with exceptional technical payroll and leadership experience.
- High level of proficiency in payroll and HRIS (ideally Chris 21 and Workday).
- Knowledge of State and Federal legislation and awards and applications
- Ability to prioritise effectively and meet strict deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – great team player
- Ability to write reports, general business correspondence and procedure manuals
- Demonstrate initiative and ability to deliver results
- Attention to detail and commitment to process compliance
