Our client is an Australian-owned private construction company with offices in VIC, ACT, QLD and NSW. They are seeking a talent Payroll Officer to join their high performing Finance team..
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for various tasks including:
- Entering payroll information, calculating wages and making payments
- Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures
- Update paper and electronic payroll records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes etc.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll
- Process all Company expenses, and report to the Company’s CEO as requested
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Proven experience as payroll assistant or similar
- Excellent communication abilities with aptitude in problem-solving
- High school diploma or equivalent; BSc/BA in accounting/business administration is a plus
- Computer savvy with working knowledge of relevant software (e.g. Payforce)
