We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll Officer to join our team in our Jandakot Office. This is an exciting opportunity for a detailed-oriented individual with a passion for accuracy and efficiency in payroll management. Some of your duties include:
- Processing of high-volume payroll functions across our diverse range of projects
- Execute project-based end to end payroll processing with the ability to interpret Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Provide routine and ad-hoc reports including salaries, allowances and payment summaries, etc.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data.
- Collaborate with all key stakeholders on payroll-related matters resolving payroll queries and discrepancies.
- Prepare year end payroll reporting and compliance.
- Provide support with the implementation of a new payroll system.
- Perform ad hoc duties outside the pay cycle.
To be considered for the role you must have:
- Minimum three years’ prior experience in similar fast-paced role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, processing multiple weekly payrolls across the business.
- Experience in interpretation of Awards and various state legislation.
- Experience working across multiple EBA's.
- IFS, Pronto and HR3 experience highly regarded but not essential.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft suite user.
- Valid Police Clearance.
