NRW are currently seeking applications for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our Belmont based team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager this is a fulltime permanent position, however a part time arrangement could be considered for the right candidate. This position would largely support one of the above mentioned 5 business units but will also be supported by others in the payroll team as needed.
Key responsibilities of the position include:
- Processing of both weekly and fortnightly high volume pays across a diverse range of projects and agreements
- Supporting employee payroll requests and queries
- Assist with calculating payroll adjustments and accruals as required
- Accurately maintain payroll data and employee records including timesheet data entry
- Assist in the preparation of scheduled and ad hoc reports related to payroll
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Previous experience in end-to-end payroll within a large organisation
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met
- Exposure to setting up of new employees and processing terminations
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to problem solve
