Randstad is seeking a Senior Payroll Officer for our client in Perth CBD. This 3-month contract offers the potential for the right candidate to become a Senior Payroll Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare payroll in line with Acts, Awards, Agreements, policies, and procedures.
- Reconcile Workers' Compensation payments and reimbursements.
- Develop and maintain payroll procedures and controls, including checklists and templates.
- Reconcile ATO submissions, superannuation, and other AP accounts post-pay period.
- Ensure payroll system integrity and compliance with legislation and policies.
Essential Criteria:
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
- Collaborative team player.
- High attention to detail.
- Payroll processing experience and knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Desirable Criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in Payroll, Finance, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with online payroll software, especially Tech 1.
