Senior Payroll Officer

Randstad is seeking a Senior Payroll Officer for our client in Perth CBD. This 3-month contract offers the potential for the right candidate to become a Senior Payroll Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare payroll in line with Acts, Awards, Agreements, policies, and procedures.
• Reconcile Workers' Compensation payments and reimbursements.
• Develop and maintain payroll procedures and controls, including checklists and templates.
• Reconcile ATO submissions, superannuation, and other AP accounts post-pay period.
• Ensure payroll system integrity and compliance with legislation and policies.

Essential Criteria:

• Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Collaborative team player.
• High attention to detail.
• Payroll processing experience and knowledge of relevant legislation.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.

Desirable Criteria:

• Tertiary qualification in Payroll, Finance, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with online payroll software, especially Tech 1.
