If you’re looking to take your career to the next level, then we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Payroll Officer to join our team. This full-time position requires a good knowledge of the payroll process and would suit an individual that has had at least 4 to 5 years of working experience in a payroll position. This position is to perform payroll functions in accordance with legislative requirements and KHL approved policies, programs and procedures.
Core responsibilities will include:
- Ensure the completion of all key weekly payroll functions and procedures
- Ensure that key payroll functions comply with relevant statutory and legislative requirements
- Provide accurate reporting in relation to payroll related issues
- Maintain and update Payroll systems, files and records
- Manage data input and output
- Respond to enquiries in a professional and courteous manner
The ideal candidate will have;
- At least 4-5years experience in a similar role
- Experience with Micropay (preferable)
- Retail industry experience (preferable)
- Have a good understanding of Awards, Fair Work and relevant legislation
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Accuracy in processing high volume and attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team and meet deadlines
