Dunlea Centre is on the lookout for a new Payroll Officer to work part time 2 days per week.
This is the first time this position has become vacant for over 9 years.
Work for an employer that makes a difference. Here, we embrace the transformative power of the Teaching Family Model of care. We take pride in being one of only a very small number of Teaching Family Model accredited agencies in Australia, dedicated to helping families and students cultivate relationships, build social skills and pave the way for life success.
This is a rare opportunity for an inspired payroll specialist who wants to work locally part time.
Our dream candidate possesses;
- At least 2 years payroll experience hopefully with exposure to Access WageEasy payroll. However, if it is using another payroll software don't let that hold you back from applying as this is not a deal-breaker.
- An innate client service focus and a desire to work somewhere that matters.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a love of interacting with staff at all levels.
- The skill to focus on detail and ensuring things are done right first time on time.
- A desire to improve processes, as we could do with some love in terms of online digital timesheets and automatic ledger interfaces. So you wont be frightened of change or a challenge.
- A current Working with Children Check, everyone working here has one!
- A Police Check or the willingness to complete one.
- A firm commitment to the Salesian ethos of the Centre.
Our people are our most valuable asset, that's why you will receive
- A competitive salary
- As an employee of a PBI (Public Benevolent Institution) an opportunity to salary sacrifice and increase your take home pay.
- Access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
- Financial study assistance if there is a job related course you're keen on taking on or currently studying.
- Free parking on-site
- Access to an on-site gym if that is up your alley.
If this sounds interesting email your application with a detailed resume to business.manager@boystown.net.au by close of business Monday 29th of April, 2024.
