A leading private provider of Non‑Emergency Patient Transport services is seeking a Payroll Officer for an immediate start in Noble Park Location. Full-time contract position available.
Responsibilities:
Payroll for 650 staff fortnightly
Ensure wages payments comply with award
Plan and implement all payroll changes
Oversee the payroll helpdesk function
Respond to escalated payroll queries in an efficient and timely manner
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar position along with the following skills and attributes:
Previous experience in full function payroll processing using MicrOpay payroll system.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Proven process improvement initiatives
High attention to detail including prioritising and organising workload
Ability to manage competing priorities and work well under pressure
Confident when dealing with stakeholders both internal and external
Able to take initiative and accountability for assigned task
