What you will do:
- Complete end to end fortnightly payroll for approximately 400+ employees.
- Ensure that wages are allocated to correct cost centres.
- Ensure all deductions and/or adjustments are accurate before finalising pay run.
- Ensure all reports are generated accurately.
- End to end payroll duties.
- 5 years’ experience in a payroll position
- Well developed organisation administrative skills, including strong attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
- Advanced computer skills and experience in using HR3, Humanforce and/or other large payroll packages is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with comprehensive knowledge of modern awards, enterprise agreements and other state and industry legislation
- Well-developed knowledge of and experience in general payroll practices, procedures, and operations.
- Experience and understanding of the not for profit, childcare and/or community services sector - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to interact proactively with management in the resolution of issues
- Ability to work independently as well as part of the team.
