About the Company;
Our client is an independently owned FMCG business who are focused on providing Australians with high quality product on a daily basis. They are now looking for an experienced Payroll professional to join them on a (temp to) permanent arrangement and take ownership of their payroll function and system.
About the Role;
This is an integral role for the business. Your responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to;
- Oversee the complete payroll process for around 850 employees, adhering to all relevant legislative and statutory payment requirements.
- Have a solid understanding of employment terms including pay rates, superannuation, allowances etc.
- Act as a kay point of contact for internal/external stakeholders for any payroll related queries.
- Maintain and update employee records, including onboarding new staff members.
- Conduct administrative tasks and monthly payroll reconciliations (e.g., leave credits and accruals, superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax) to ensure data accuracy and alignment with the system.
- Manage the payroll system, including developing and maintaining payroll policies, processes, and forms.
- Generate and provide monthly payroll reports to the leadership team.
- 3+ years in similar payroll positions, preferably within larger companies.
- Sound knowledge of awards and agreements.
- Experience using HR3 or ReadyPay highly desirable.
- Self-motivated and driven personality.
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills.
