Aboutthe Role

Weare seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Payroll Support Officer to join ourdynamic Payroll team. Reporting to the Senior Payroll Specialist, this is ahands-on role supporting leaders with their weekly payroll tasks. You willdemonstrate a strong work ethic, the willingness to learn on the job and theability to work within a team. This is a full-timeposition based at our brand new office premises in Docklands.

 

Yourresponsibilities will include, but are not limited to

• Provideexceptional customer service to all internal and external stakeholders.
• Assistingin processing new starters, terminations etc
• Ensurethat key payroll functions comply with relevant statutory and legislativerequirements.
• Interpretand apply industry related awards and applicable industrial instruments toemployee wages where required.
• Provideadvice and calculate leave entitlements based on relevant leave legislation.
• Maintaincompany payroll records in an accurate and confidential manner.
• Provideaccurate reporting in relation to payroll related issues.
• Provideassistance and support on key department activities, initiatives and projects.
• Ad-hocduties as required.
• Supportthe HR function in achieving the desired results in all aspects of producing anaccurate weekly payroll.

Tobe successful in this role, you will have:

• Exposureto Preceda payroll system is desirable but not essential.
• Exposureto payroll processing functions.
• Provenability to show self-initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Abilityto self-manage and meet deadlines.
• Abilityto maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Intermediatecomputer skills.
• Excellentverbal and written communication
