With 13,000 staff at BCE the Payroll Team is processing high volume payroll on a fortnightly pay run and you will have the opportunity to share your skills and grow within the team.
About the role:- Lead, mentor, and oversee the Payroll Administration Services team for seamless and accurate payroll processing.
- Identify and address training needs to ensure team compliance with regulations and policies.
- Serve as an expert resource, offering guidance to stakeholders on complex payroll matters.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends to ensure precise payroll execution.
- Drive process enhancements to streamline payroll operations and boost efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve intricate payroll issues through thorough research.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external partners for effective collaboration.
- Handle challenging situations with confidentiality and diplomacy.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance standards in payroll procedures.
- Represent the Payroll Administration Services in meetings and integrate client feedback into improvement strategies.
- Assist in various special projects and tasks assigned by senior management.
About you: To be successful in this role you will demonstrate
- Previous experience in payroll administration, with a strong understanding of Single Touch Payroll and Superannuation.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with effective team management abilities.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and agreements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
