With 13,000 staff at BCE the Payroll Team is processing high volume payroll on a fortnightly pay run and you will have the opportunity to share your skills and grow within the team. About the role:

• Lead, mentor, and oversee the Payroll Administration Services team for seamless and accurate payroll processing.
• Identify and address training needs to ensure team compliance with regulations and policies.
• Serve as an expert resource, offering guidance to stakeholders on complex payroll matters.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends to ensure precise payroll execution.
• Drive process enhancements to streamline payroll operations and boost efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve intricate payroll issues through thorough research.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external partners for effective collaboration.
• Handle challenging situations with confidentiality and diplomacy.
• Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance standards in payroll procedures.
• Represent the Payroll Administration Services in meetings and integrate client feedback into improvement strategies.
• Assist in various special projects and tasks assigned by senior management.

About you: To be successful in this role you will demonstrate

• Previous experience in payroll administration, with a strong understanding of Single Touch Payroll and Superannuation.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with effective team management abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and agreements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
