We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist, specialising in paediatrics, to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team as a Team Leader with a private practice clinic in Silverwater. This is an exciting opportunity for a
passionate individual seeking to strike a unique balance between clinical service provision and leadership.
This role allows for a diverse and stimulating working environment, with an 80% clinic-based and 20% community/school visits service delivery model. The successful candidate will become an integral part of an experienced multidisciplinary team, providing exceptional therapeutic services to children and adolescents. In addition to delivering high-quality clinical services, the Team Leader will play a pivotal role in further developing the paediatric clinic, leading the team and creating innovative service improvements.
- Clinical Services: Provide comprehensive assessment and treatment to children and adolescents with a variety of conditions, promoting independence and optimising development.
- Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and support the paediatric OT team, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment that promotes professional growth.
- Program Development: Contribute to the continued development and enhancement of the Silverwater paediatric clinic. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to innovate and improve service delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with families, carers, educators and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic, child-centred care.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Full AHPRA Registration
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Valid National Police Clearance
- Ability to build rapport quickly & maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership or mentoring role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Dedication to evidence-based practice and continual professional development.
- Understanding and experience in NDIS service delivery would be advantageous.
