Salary based on experience, range: $75,669 - $97,921 (pro rata) plus super
Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid WFH and office model
About the role: Reporting to the Manager, Business Partnering, this is a generalist position, working in a collaborative team to ensure that our managers and staff have access to fit-for-purpose advice and resources as they deliver services and programs aimed at improving the lives of Victorians who are experiencing disadvantage.Working alongside and mentored by our People Business Partners, you will:
Build effective relationships and engage with managers and employees, providing support, coaching, education and advice on people-related processes
Interpret and advise on employee entitlements and benefits in line with employment policies, procedures and our enterprise agreement
Provide timely and accurate information relating to a range of HR matters including probation, performance management, training and development, resourcing and FTE management, employee wellbeing and injury management, and employee and workplace relations matters
This role will suit candidates with exceptional client service and a strong ability to coach, consult, influence and problem-solve.This is a hybrid role and is split between our Melbourne office based on Wurundjeri Country and Work from Home.
About you: As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
Strong HR knowledge and demonstrated experience in providing generalist people and culture advice and support.
Ability to form strong working relationships and become a trusted advisor with a portfolio of clients, partnering with them to efficiently achieve outcomes and make sound people-management decisions.
Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and exercise sound judgement while liaising with a wide range of stakeholders about confidential and sensitive matters.
Detail-oriented, well organised and a critical thinker, you will be capable of formulating in-depth, accurate and tailored advice.
Collaborative approach to working in a team, with flexibility and adaptability to foster a positive and supportive work environment.
