This role will suit people who are happy influencing and collaborating face-to-face (5 days working in the office – 200 metres from East Richmond station and two Tram lines).
About the role:
IPA is looking for a People & Culture Business Partner to join the team in Cremorne. Reporting to the P&C Manager, in this Full time ongoing role, based in Richmond, you will join the P&C team providing support to our managers and employees.
In the P&C team, you are the first point of contact for all employment queries and will be part of the group-wide People & Culture Business Partnering team, ensuring you have opportunity to learn and grow your HR skills. This opportunity is well suited to an individual who is ready to build on their career in HR in a supportive and hardworking team. Partnering with P&C colleagues to resolve enquiries in a professional, timely, sensitive, customer-focused manner
About the opportunity:
- Work in partnership with senior management teams to identify the people implications of strategic and business plans and other developments.
- Promote effective ways of working and agree appropriate local-level interventions to maximise opportunities, support change and manage risk.
- Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with the People, Performance and Culture team and contribute to developing solutions, programs and policies.
- Participate in the recruitment processes providing remuneration advice, participating in interviewing and offer processes.
- Lead corporate initiatives and projects as agreed with the People, Performance and Culture Manager.
- Strong human resource internal consulting and influencing skills.
- Ability to build trust with managers and team members at all levels across the business.
- Excellent written/oral communication skills.
- Project/change management and solution-based approaches.
- High level emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of current People and Culture practices and trends.
- Ability to drive initiatives and critically analyse situations and projects to ensure positive outcomes.
- Data analytical skills and strong business acumen.
