Position objectives
The Project Support Officer will be responsible for:
- Providing a high level of administrative support to the Project Delivery Team
- Assisting the Project Delivery Team with minor projects
- Interacting with external clients on minor project matters
- Project documentation storage and filing administration
- Administering the contract variation process
Qualifications and experience
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:
- Certificate IV in Business or Project Management
- Extensive experience administration in a contracts and projects environment
- Demonstrated computer literacy skills including MS Office suite, records management and financial systems
- High level customer service skills and experience
- Experience in reporting on project progress and preparation of basic financial reports
- Experience in working to timeframes and reporting requirements
- Experience in working in an environment where quality and attention to detail are required.
- Current drivers licence
- Hold a current satisfactory Police Check or willing to obtain one.
Salary and conditions
The position is classified within Band 5 of Council’s current Enterprise Agreement ranging from $75,461 to $86,603 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
