As the People and Procurement Officer you will work with the People and Procurement teams to deliver the full range of best-practice People and Procurement activities across QRA. This role is part of a team of nine positions and reports to the Manager (People).
* Provide advice and administration support to enable efficient and effective end to end recruitment processes in QRA.
* Provide procurement administration support to suppliers and internal stakeholders under the application of the Queensland Government and QRA procurement policy, principals and best practice governance.
* Assist with the delivery of recruitment related training and information sessions to employees.
* Develop and maintain strong, collaborative, and productive working relationships and partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure People and Procurement services are responsive to current and future needs.
* Maintain a sound understanding of relevant legislation, awards, policies and practices to support the delivery of best practice People and Procurement services.
* Proactively identify efficiencies and continuously improve People and Procurement team services and activities.
* Assist with attraction and retention projects which may include conducting annual reviews, compliance with financial reporting requirements and maintenance of accurate records.
* Develop high-quality correspondence, briefing material, procedures and guidelines.
* Support best practice establishment management including maintaining accurate human resource management information systems and recordkeeping practices (including Content Manager and Aurion).
* Undertake scheduled and ad-hoc reporting and forecasting using PowerBI, and Excel.
* Support the development, improvement, implementation and review of People and Procurement practices and procedures.
* Support People and Procurement projects as directed to deliver high quality people solutions and outcomes.
Whilst not mandatory, possession of relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualifications in human resource management will be highly regarded.
