About this role: People and Safety AdministratorBrunel has partnered with a key Australian organisation with a depth of experience in owning, developing and operating Australian farmland, agriculture infrastructure and other assets. They now are seeking a passionate and dedicated People and Safety Administrator to join their team in Canberra.

Key responsibilities
Demonstrate a commitment to Safety, Environmental and Equal Opportunity objectives, and a workplace free from discrimination and harassment
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Safety Management System
Support the People Adviser with recruitment, advertising, interviews and reference checks
Assist with onboarding of new employees
Assist with fortnightly preparation and checking of payroll
Produce and complete payroll journals, leave reports and TOIL reports
Support the Safety Manager, coordinating document production, system administration, procurement, scheduling audits, travel arrangements and cost allocation
Assist with the development of HR, WHS and ICT training materials as required
What you need to bring:Experience and skills
Knowledge of, and interest in human resources required
Knowledge of work health and Safety activities is advantageous
12 months + experience in a similar role preferred
Strong time management and organisational skills
Process oriented with the ability to follow guidelines and work autonomously
Strong ICT literacy skills with a working knowledge of MS Office Suite software
Methodical, logical and practical working approach
Good attention to detail and accuracy
