  • Permanent part time position, 24 hours per week (0.6 FTE)
  • Administrative Officer Grade 3 Year 1 (HS3) Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025.
  • Up to $12,000 tax free earnings with salary packaging options

About the Health Service

Mansfield District Hospital (MDH) is located in Victoria’s scenic high country, at the foot of Mount Buller and on the shores of Lake Eildon, only two hours from Melbourne. We have created an exceptional health service for the Mansfield and surrounding community life stages and critical health needs, including acute hospital care, urgent care, operating theatre, obstetrics with a midwifery group practice model, aged care, regional district nursing service for in-home care and our allied health services.

We are looking for a HR professional, with excellent customer service skills, a depth of human resource knowledge and administrative excellence. Areas of focus will include supporting recruitment, selection, support and exiting of staff members; advising on EBAs, awards, award interpretation and contractual entitlements; providing candidates with exceptional customer service; supporting new employees through their on-boarding; generating employment contracts, contract variations, compliance and credentialing requirements, with an eagle eye for detail; seeing opportunities to improve our candidates and employees’ experiences and being a part of the solutions; professionally managing highly sensitive documents; and delivering wellbeing initiatives that build the psychosocial health of our people.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A qualification in Human Resources Management or similar.
  • An excellent track record in customer service and administrative responsibilities
  • A consolidated knowledge applying enterprise agreements and application to salary and wages.
  • Be highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong computer literacy, including MS Office, email, and Human Resource Information Systems.
  • Previous experience in healthcare will be viewed very favourably.
