Reporting to the Head of People – Retail & VM you will partner with Retail leaders across Country Road & Trenery to deliver the people strategy, while maximising the capability of our people and teams.
This role includes coaching of business leaders, collaborating with the wider people team and building strong relationships across the business to provide solution-oriented outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Country Road and Trenery Heads of Retail to shape people solutions and deliver key people activities
- Lead conversations around talent management, succession planning and team engagement
- Lead and contribute to key strategic projects across the corporate and wider People Teams
- Facilitate and lead projects relating to organizational change and continuous improvement of our people experience
- Mix the commercial objectives with the needs of our people to create an engaging team experience
- Provide ongoing coaching, training and support to senior leaders
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Experience working in effective HR Business Partnering roles
- Strong ability to support leaders in building functional strategy and operationalising for action
- Experience supporting corporate and/or retail functions
- A customer and people experience centric approach
- Demonstratable knowledge of how the employee experience, supports a positive customer experience
- An ability to influence via strong relationships across a wide range of stakeholders
- Effective collaboration internally within the People team and with stakeholders
- Strong influencing and communication skills
- Exposure to org design principles and wider project/change management capability
- An openness to support the full range of people activities, from partnering with senior leaders, to supporting the operational aspects of people movements and changes
- Coach and mentor leaders regarding people process and initiative
