Skytek is a leading maintenance and repair organisation (MRO), specialising in fixed and rotary wing aircraft. Our heavy maintenance facility is based in Cairns, North Queensland where an exciting opportunity now exists for a highly motivated individual to become an integral part of our team.
We currently have a vacancy for an Accounts Officer.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Process all payable invoices ensuring they are cost coded correctly and processed in a timely manner.
- Liaise with vendors, and employees on any payment queries and to validate invoices.
- Working closely with the Finance Team for monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations and financial reporting requirements including providing administrative support.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Maintain appropriate accounts payable documentation and driving ongoing improvement in business practices.
- Reception duties as required.
