Role Purpose
As part of the People Operations Team, APAC, you will provide essential support to the People Operations Lead, APAC. This role is based in our Civica Melbourne Office, Australia with a standard ordinary hours of 37.5 hours per week from 9 AM – 5 PM (AEST). You will be an integral part of Civica’s People Team in ANZ that will provide local generalist and administrative support to the business and to the People Admins based in IND. Your primary focus is delivering and overseeing high quality people core activities throughout the employee lifecycle such as onboarding, internal mobility, employee benefits, offboarding, L2 people queries and supporting local/global people projects and initiatives.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide people support to the business of general enquiries
- Provide support in award and legislation interpretations
- Support the people administrators on complex queries and problem solving
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS, data management system, and others
- Facilitate end-to-end pre-onboarding and onboarding activities
- Facilitate end-to-end offboarding process and escalations
- Support employee movement activities such as promotions, transfers, and VISA sponsorships
- Conduct quality assurance checking on a frequent basis to ensure delivery of high quality work
- Conducting reviews and improvement of policies and procedures
- Provide OHS support in incident management, investigations, and ensure all emergency personnel have updated training
- Provide support in delivery local and global people projects and initiatives
- Manage key internal and external stakeholders in the effective delivery of annual benefits.
- Ensure business compliance with maintaining, updating and reviewing policies and procedures.
- Preparation of HR analytical reporting in a weekly/monthly frequency.

You will have excellent organisation skills and an understanding on how to uphold the highest standards of confidentiality.
In this role you will bring:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources (HR) or equivalent field
- A minimum 1 year experience in corporate HR role or related discipline
- Passion for People attitude with special attention to employee experience
- Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills
- Excellent multi-tasker
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software
- Proactive problem-solving approach
- Adaptive to dynamic environments
Preferred skills:
- Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations in Australia and New Zealand
- Ability to interpret and advise on OH&S regulations and compliance
- Analytical and creative mindset
