More than just a Job
As the People & Culture Advisor you will be responsible for the Poolwerx Support Centre’s (PSC) end-to-end P&C support including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and projects.
You will also provide daily operational support to our Franchise Partners in line with operational requirements and business cadence. Participate in project delivery including employee wellness and engagement, employer branding, system implementation, development season workshops, compliance, and process improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Guidance and Support: Provide guidance to Franchise Partners (FPs) on IR/ER, Workers Compensation, Award compliance, and WHS requirements, ensuring all legal and compliance standards are met.
- Recruitment: Coordinate recruitment activities including job ads, shortlisting, screenings, and employment agreements and manage PSC induction program.
- Payroll and Remuneration: Handle remuneration tasks (salary reviews, research, letter preparation, and processing). Prepare payroll for PSC and company-operated stores.
- Performance Management: Coordinate quarterly and annual performance reviews for PSC and ensure adequate systems and tools are available for FPs to utilise.
- Training for FPs: Develop P&C content for newsletters and communication streams, develop and deliver training programs and materials for FPs.
- PSC Team Coordination and Event Planning: Organise monthly team meetings, engagement programs, team building events like Team Summit, and assist the Head of People, Performance & Culture Manager with various projects and tasks.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in contemporary HR procedures including recruitment, contracting, ER, and WHS
- Ability to interpret legislation, regulations, Awards, policies, and procedures
- Experience in coordinating and organising training, events, and developing training programs.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, including attention to detail and workload prioritisation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact proactively and confidentially at all organisational levels.
