This national law firm has an amazing culture and great reputation within Queensland but also nationally. This new role will provide senior support to the head of P&C and opportunity to provide mentorship to the P&C coordinators.
About the opportunity:
This is a 2IC role where you will work closely with the head of P&C, all authors and specifically partners within the firm as well with the rest of your immediate team. Day to day you will be:
- providing mentorship to your other team members;
- supporting partners in assistance of coaching and leadership;
- proactively initiate, lead and implement programs and projects including related to performance, graduate programs and salary review benchmarking;
- preparing and provide data analysis and reporting;
- provide advice and reviewing contracts including employee agreements, entitlements and policies; and
- support partners and authors regarding performance concerns, terminations, grievances and disputes.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- experience in a People and Culture Advisor role and/or qualification in human resources or related field;
- experience in the legal industry though this is not essential;
- excellent attention to detail, strong organisational and time-management skills and administration experience;
- focused on working towards a inclusive and diverse workplace;
- ability to work as a team and autonomously to manage your own workload; and
- a passion for customer service and strong client/employee relationship skills as this role will see you as one of the main internal contacts.
