The Role
The People & Culture Business Partner is responsible for supporting business leaders in the operation and growth of Etymon Projects as it relates to our greatest asset, our people. This role will be suitable for someone who has some exposure at an advisory level for a dynamic business, looking to take on more responsibility as a Business Partner, and has some exposure in either hospitality, recruitment or both.
Success in this role will be achieved through ensuring all activities position the business as an employer of choice, continually adapting, evolving and bettering our people programs as business grows; and upholding the Etymon values in all interactions and decisions made.
Responsibilities:
Talent & Recruitment
- Manage the talent database including implementation and maintenance of an Applicant Tracking System.
- Manage the careers portal and job posting websites including branding and copy.
- Coordinate interviews for venue management and Head Office roles, ensuring candidate care at every touchpoint.
- Support the business with job postings for line level roles that attract the right talent.
- Educate leaders on the recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure scalability and retention.
- Assist with the project management of new venue openings.
Employee Relations
- End to end management of the onboarding process including offer, recommendation and employment contract processes.
- Partner with senior management to develop comprehensive induction plans for all key staff that address technical skills, soft skills and Etymon culture.
- Support with ER/IR matters including employment law research, assisting with consultations and liaising with Fair Work
- Assist with management of the performance management framework, including probation and annual reviews, and documenting performance improvement plans.
Learning & Development
- Coordinate monthly Etymon induction sessions facilitated by the Senior Leadership Team.
- Develop induction and learning and development content that shares the Etymon story and vision, upskills our workforce and retains talent.
- Coordinate and deliver the monthly Health, Safety & Environment induction.
- Manage onboarding and completion within internal e-learning platforms.
- Work with the Senior Leadership to further embed the internship and trainee management program as the business grows.
Culture & Employer Brand
- Develop, document and embed policies and procedures, as well as people practises that are best in class and uphold the Etymon reputation.
- Collaborate on the ideation of Etymon’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP) including careers page and employee benefits program.
- Deliver a bi-monthly Etymon Newsletter celebrating our people and successes.
- Partner with the Senior Leadership Team on the delivery of activities that reward and recognise our talent.
