We are looking for a dynamic and passionate People and Culture Business Partner to join our growing organisation on a permanent basis.
A bit of a spill of about the role.
Reporting to the General Manager P&C, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Partner with business leaders to align P&C strategy with the Company goals.
- Provide advice, guidance and support to employee and leaders at all stages of the employee lifecycle
- Handle employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and conflict resolution by approaching it in a fair and consistent manner
- Educating the business to understand the impacts of legislative requirements changes to them individually, or within their teams.
- Strong focus on Work Health and Safety, WHS reporting and support the Executive Team on their ongoing obligations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and support a positive culture.
Achmea Australia is looking for someone who:
- Has a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position
- Tertiary qualification (or equivalent) in HRM or a similar field is desired, but not essential
- Up to date with legislative and Work Health and Safety requirements
- Demonstrated ability to build genuine relationships with employees and the leadership team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience working within the WHS space
- Ability to juggle competing priorities and work to deadlines.
About the location
The People & Culture Business Partner is based in our Sydney head office located on Pitt St, Sydney CBD. We support a healthy work-life balance and currently have a hybrid working model in place. 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.
