About the role

A fantastic opportunity for a talented HR professional to join our team located at Eagle Farm in Brisbane.

Reporting to the People & Culture Manager you will play a key role in the administration of our end-to-end employee lifecycle processes. We are looking for someone who is highly organised, process driven, cares about the detail and is passionate about providing our people with a truly great experience. This is a diverse role working as part of a small HR team with ample opportunity for growth and development. 

Daily activities include:

  • First point of contact for all people related enquiries
  • Resolving human resources issues with the aim of building a positive and engaged work environment including recommending resolutions and providing advice to managers
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment and selection for our retail locations throughout Brisbane and Toowoomba
  • Coordination and management of all outgoing contracts, letters, payroll forms and HR documents
  • Onboarding all new employees and conducting employee inductions.
  • Delivering a range of employee engagement activities across the organisation including coaching and training sessions for employees and management 
  • Workplace Health and Safety administration including review of policies, providing advice, coordinating training, reviewing incident reports and data, and managing workcover claims 
  • General administration tasks such as monthly reporting, management of Intranet and organising content for the monthly newsletters
  • Nurturing and supporting our amazing culture

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience within a similar role
  • Highly organised with a strong and proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • A genuine care for detail and delivering an exceptional experience to our team members
  • Confident in communicating with a range of stakeholders at all levels, with strong decision-making skills
  • An innovative, curious and solutions focussed thinker
  • A passion for coffee and a positive, 'can-do' attitude
