In this role, you'll have the opportunity to get some great exposure to all elements of a People & Culture function as your day-to-day responsibilities will be diverse. You will collaborate closely with the team, providing support on a variety of tasks in the Learning and Development, recruitment, and onboarding space. While a solid administrative background is crucial, and attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, prior knowledge of HR processes is an advantage but not mandatory.

As our People & Culture Coordinator, you can expect each day to be different. Your role will involve establishing strong relationships within the organisation, utilising systems and technologies, and working closely with the People & Development Business Partner. This position offers ample opportunities for skill development, learning, and progression within this dynamic People & Culture team.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • L&D coordination
  • Database management
  • Onboarding & offboarding administration
  • HR administration
  • Policy and compliance training administration
  • Internal communications
  • Employment and ad-hoc letters
  • Coordinating probation reviews
  • Recruitment support; booking phone screens, requesting reference checks
  • General support and administration for the team

Key essential skills required:

  • Strong time management, prioritisation and organisational skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service ethic
  • Self-motivated
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • What you will need to be successful:
  • Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, Administration or a related discipline preferred
  • Experience working in a HR function is preferred, but not essential
  • Business administration or customer service experience, desirable
  • Experience in HR systems preferred but not essential
